shin splints

hello i’m in the army and i’ve been getting really bad shin splints and it’s kept me from trainning for a month now and I really need to train. I heard about compression sleeves but not shore if they will help. I get them in my lower leg about 3 to 5 inches above my ankle and I really want them to go away. if you do have a sleeve that works for this area please let me know. and how do I know what size I need? also do you have them in stock and how long would it take to ship one to san angelo texas?and how much are they? just need a ball park figure. Thank You, Arron Hurtt

The Bio Skin Shin splint helps. If you are in the Military they should have a staff of doctors and orthotic people. you may need some kind of arch support. I bet they have a lot of experience with shin splints since it is an overuse injury that is aggravated by running on uneven and hard surfaces. Also improper shoes or poor arches. Running down hill. Stretching helps. Check with the military clinic and they can help since shin splints has to be common.
