sholder pain

I am experiencing sholder pain when I throw anything, putting on my coat, random quick movements and laying in bed (I put my arm up and under a pillow). I was thinking it is tendons or rotor cuff, do any of these symptoms sound classic of any specific thing? I have done nothing to help it and it is getting worse. Robin
