Shooting heel pain after a soccer game
(2 discussions)
I play indoor soccer once a week and this past week after I played (when I got home) I had a shooting pain in my ankle.
It’s been almost 24 hours since the game now, but it still hurts.
I didn’t get kicked in the game, but it really hurts when I walk on it. It feels like a needle being shoved into my heel on every step.
It does fell less hurtful as I try to walk on it more (or maybe I get used to the pain more). What could it be (a sprain or a bone spur – what ever a spur is)?

Without an examination, I can only speculate. Certainly you have an injury. Get it examined by a podiatrist. To see is to know, not to see is to guess. Good luck.
