I’m 50 years old and have a pain in my shoulder. It is like a nerve is being pinched. I have trouble raising my arm above my head and sometimes the pain wakes me up at night. I’ve stopped doing shoulder exercises, but the pain seems to be getting worse and it almost seems like the shoulder is starting to lock up on me. I did have bursitis in that same shoulder awhile back. What should I do for exercises and stretching and should I use ice or heat for it and for how long? Should I stop weight training completely?
