Shoulder pain

I have had a nagging shoulder pain in my right shoulder for a few months and it is now getting worse. Whenever I rotate my arem (in a cirle) I hear a cracking sound, like knuckes craking, but it cracks from within (if that makes sence). I was wondering if anyone had any idea of what this may be and if I should see a doctor about it or if it will pass in time. I play hockey and it is the off season so is there a possiblity it could heal with rest?

I have the same symptoms! It seems to be shoulder bursitis or a rotator cuff problem. Try an internet search with those terms. Treatments I found include resting your shoulder, pain relievers and careful stretching.
