My mother had hemmoroid surgery about 10 years ago and has had numbness in her legs ever since. Is it from nerve damage caused by the surgery and is there anything that can be done about it? Thank you.
Chances are if it happened right after surgery they must have nicked a nerve…if she’s had these symptoms for 10 years chances are its permanent nerve damage. Although, if the numbness started some months after the surgery it could be something else…as she been checked out by a neurologist? That may be a good next step.
