siatic pain

I have been having pain in the right side of my hip that radiates down my right leg for about 3 months now. I have taken lots of anti infammatory n=meds and nothing helps. Is it possible that I have a pinched nerve because I do have shocking like sensations down my leg. Sometimes it is a burnong pain and even a cramping like pain also. I have an appointment to see a doctor next week because it dean’t look like this is going to get better. Can you offer any input please. Thank You.
