Skin Splints

I get terrible skin splints on the inside of my skins just above my ankle and below the calf muscle.
I stretch before each game (basketball) but nothing seems to help.
I also try iceing them as many times as possible.
I’ve heard of taping them but I’m not sure how. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Help please!!

    Hey I feel ur pain I have had shin splints for so long n I keep making them worse use pre wrap n tap them around but not 2 tight. or wrap it with an ace wrap. I play soccer I am a tracker runner and I dance n I never rest but be careful I could turn imto a stress fracture and those arnt fungood luckdncr
