Sleeping to Straighten

I went to the chiropractor about a year ago and he gave me some stretches and bends to do twice a day. He told me some of my lower back pain was caused from a small curve in my spin. Its not scoliosis my spin just leans a little to the right the further up it goes, he said most people lean to one side or the other. My questions is, along with the stretches and exercises he gave me to help straighten my spin or reduce pain ,would it also help to try to sleep on my right side as much as possible?
