small toe

(4 discussions)

I jammed my little toe while running through the kitchen. It has been over a month and it still hurts to wear shoes. (It hurts without shoes too). I had bruising on that whole side of my foot (right foot). The bruising is mostly gone but my toe is still quite swollen. I find myself limping and it is putting a strain on my back and ankle. I am in my mid forties. Do you have any suggestions?

i broke my pinkie toe a few years ago for the first time, and since then i’ve caught it on something and re-broken it about 6 or 7 times. normally, I ice it and elevate it and in a few days its feeling right again. three weeeks ago I did it again and it still is achey and pains me. the only thing I missed was icing and elevating it in the first 36 hours, and I know that was stupid, but could that be the reason why it’s still acting up? I don’t have insurance so I can’t go get an xray, but if I absolutely have no choice, then. . . Thanks!

I only am excepted from gym and sports for a week which means I CAN’T PLAY IN THE SOCCER PLAYOFFS. They are so ganna lose without me…….GRRR!

I recommend you see a podiatrist and have your foot x-rayed and go from there.
