(2 discussions)

FINDINGS: Imaging demonstrates leftward curvature consistent w/ scoliosis of a mild-moderate degree centered at the L4-L5 * There is rotary component of scoliosis* Degenerative arthrosis of left sacroiliac joint* L2-L3 (subtle endplate spurring)* L3-L4 (nominal bulge w/mild endplate spurring) * L4-L5 (minimal chondromalacia of facet joints)(nonimal disc bulge present)* L5-S1, mild disc desiccation. Posterior central disc protrusion w/ an annular tear of small size and w/out evidence for nerve root impingement. Left-sided pars interarticularis defect. CONCLUSION: 1.
Small posterior central disc protrusion at the L5-S1 level with an associated annular tear but without evidence for nerve root impingement.
Please tell me what this report says in English.
I am very confused as to my treatment options.
I was told about a chamber that would open my joints and allow fluid to enter the disc’s again. And once the discs were full of fluid then they would no longer be a problem.
I was told this would take about 20 sessions.
Should I seek a second opinion?
If so, who should I see?
