i know it’s a little late but I’ve been through the whole sprained ankle from really bad not being able to walk on it to minor ones (im only 16 but very active in sports), just keep it iced and elevated to keep some of the swelling down, its gonna be weak from now on trust me I wear a brace now in everything thing I do sports wize even if I’m just running but I work to keep it healthy and I tried to get its strength back but I’m always babying it but keep it wrapped, iced, and try working the soreness out of it! sorry so late but for future references!

Hello,Elevate the ankle and apply ice pack (ice cubes in a large zip lock bag so it goes around most of the area).Ice pack for 30 minutes then off for 30 minutes. Do this for the first 48 hours.Stay off leg for at least this period. Then very easy on it for 1-2 weeks if nothing is torn.

I turned my ancle playing baseball and it swelled up within a minute and its been about three weeks since it happened and I am worried cause its not sore or bruised it is just swollen (outer and inner part) and hurts when I try to run and walk up and down stairs. Do you think I might have a fracture (it hurts in a specific spot)?

:i sprained my ancle about six weeks ago, it does not heal, my work requires constant walk about, and I cannot afford to stay off for any lenght of time.
