sprained ankle four times, persistant pain, instability
I have sprained my right ankle four times and am now experiencing persistant pain and instability.
I also have clicking on that same foot.
An X-ray taken showed no signs of fractures.
However, I fear that this persistant pain will remain with me permanetaly.
Both my feet are very flat as well and I can’t walk a long duration of time without feeling a strong burning in both feet.
But I’m 17 and the pain on my right ankle is unbearable and is not going away.
I sprained it for the fourth time 2 months ago.
Please, help me.
I am scared and fear the worst.
Will this pain and instability ever go away?

Just because an X-ray does not show anything does not mean that there is nothing going on. I would recommend an MRI and if there is soft tissue pathology then ankle arthroscopy may be needed.
