  1. I have the same or similar: pain in the left knee only, very little if any visual swelling, but painful. And I have one cut on my leg and numerous bites by some bugs around my feet and ankles, probably bugs that live in the carpet or could be bugs in my garden? Could those bug bites infect my left knee? I can say that most bug bites are on my left foot. I’ve been having this for 2-3 days, had my knee lock sometimes and some pain in the past, but not as much as now and now it is stiff. I noticed that walking stops the pain and staying still espewcially lying down makes the pain go all over the leg with annoying “weakening” pain as if my leg had a diarrhoea.

  2. Hi, I m 25 years old now, yesterday, i had swelling feet and ankles on the right side only. But no pain. Is that kind of infection? I had no idea what is it? Can u please tell me what are the symptoms? please help!

    • my left ankle has been swollen all my life. i am 56 years old. my foot in the middle also swells as the day goes on. i have to get a larger foot size because of this. would you be able to tell me what is causing this and have a remedy if any? thank you in advance.

  3. Hallo,I have been in a foreign country for two weeks. A week ago I noticed that my feet and ankle areswollen. More so in the evening. I have no pains. What could be the problem.

  4. I have that too…. For about a year or more my right ankle and foot will swell with no pain. Lately, I have begun to notice the tightness is moving up my calf to my knee. This is not a constant happening but is not attributed to any injury to foot or ankle.I do notice a sort of tingling sensation from time to time but no pain…. Anyone know what is going on?

    • i have an ankle swelling on the right side with no pain.i have sprained this ankle twice a few years ago. when you push on it, there is an indention. it is not very swollen. could this be from the injury years ago? i never went to the dr. before because my sprain got better. i am inclined to think it is due to my long ago injury.

  6. HiMy right ankle has become slightly swollen but it does not hurt. What does this indicate? The swelling diminishes overnight. There is no pain at all.

  7. Please contact a physician immediately. Swollen ankles without pain (especially the left ankle)is a strong indicator of cardiovascular disease. When your ankle is swollen, push a finger into the swollen area, does it take more than two seconds for the color to reappear?Additional notes: Have you had any lower back injuries?
