SWOLLEN FOOT.
Hi:I have had a swollen foot, with a black sore spot, the size of a coin on my ankle, for the past 2 weeks.
It did not come about by insect bite, fracture, or any physical injury.
This is not ring-worm. I saw my doctor who just prescribed gen. keeflex (500 mg) tabs. to be taking for 10 days and that if the swelling still persist I should come back and see him.
Should’nt the Doctor have done some x’ray and other blood test to check for other related or emerging disease, etc?
