I am sorry, but I do not answer questions by email. Everyone who posts wants a private dialogue, and I just don’t have that much time. By all means I recommend you see a podiatrist ASAP. What you have needs further evaluation and treatment. Good luck.

Hello, I too have ITS (itchy toe syndrome). I thought I was the only one. Its driving me absolutley insane. Tomoreow I am going to a heath food store to talk to the person there and ask for suggestions. Every single thing I have tried has failed. Check out this site… fill in your syptoms and it will tell you a natural rememdy you can try. Hope it will help…

hi you answered my top question via an email but for some reason I was unabale to reply back via email, anyway no there isnt any blisters, sores or peeling skin. it is just red and very blown up like, and quite hard, to touch.the itchyness comes and goes but when it comes, it is very bad. I have had it suggested to myself that maybe it could be an ingrowing toenail or possibly somthing to do with nerves. can you help further, or would you suggest consulting a doctor??thankyou

: Lisa, I have the same problem and I was wondering if you saw a Dr. and what he/she said: I have the same problem and it affects most of my toes. I saw a dermatologist who wanted to do a biopsy – I declined. This ony happens in colder months. They suggested that I keep my feet warm. They feel better when I let them be cold – like running around barefoot (inside!) in the winter. So that’s what I do. However, I’m about ready to go back to the doctor because the condition is driving me nuts. I know my circulation is poor in my legs – maybe that is the issue.

I have a friend with itchy toes and I was wondering what it is. She is always scrathing them and cannot wear any shoes. Just the other day she had to wear my sandals in the freezing cold canadian winter. Can you suggest what might be done. PS the medicated cream does not seem to be working.

i have this exact same problem and thought I would never find anyone who could relate to my situation. I have an incredibly itchy toe, red & swollen, and hard to the touch. it also happens to me during winter months and is barely affected by itching cream. it’s literally driving me CRAZY, and for the life of me, I can’t figure out what causes it. any advice on how to treat it would be appreciated.

I have the same problem. I used to wear socks in the house. When I stopped wearing the socks and putting baby oil on the toes after I shower, it has really helped. I think in winter, it is hard on toes, especially if you have it covered.
