Hi, I have a similar pain in my left leg when driving etc. The pain orriginated from when I strined my back through heavy lifting. I have spoken to a friend who is a physio. She says that it is most likely a slipped disc that has effected the syatic nerve. In 90% of cases it clears itself up in 4-6 weeks but if you’ve had it longer you may need to see your GP and go for a scan.good luck

Hi, I have a syatic nerve problem when I get up in the morning I feel fine and if I stand I feel fine, its when I sit at work and drive the car that my pain comes. Are there any excersies I should be doing and ones that I should not do. I have always been a gym person and do not want to do anything that might cause me more pain. Also is there a special kind of chair I could use at work that might help with the pain. tks marilyn
