MY HUSBAND FRACTURED HIS TALUS BONE 4 YEARS AGO.
HE’S HAD 3 SURGERIES AND IS SCHEDULED FOR HIS FOURTH IN APRIL TO FUSE THE BONES.
HIS DOCTOR SAYS THIS IS HIS ONLY OPTION TO ELIMINATE THE PAIN.
WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS?
My first thought is I am sorry he has this problem. It is a major hassle. As far as commenting without seeing any x-rays or examining him, I can not say. Generally, fusion is done to relieve the chronic pain when a joint is destroyed.
