After having this surgery is it possible to return to work right away and does the surgery usually require being casted.
I stand pretty much all day and walk quiet alot in my job.

I usually keep the patient non-weight bearing on crutches for at least 4 weeks then gradually re introduce guarded weightbearing over the next 2 weeks.
