    Yes, you can have swelling in the hand too….Have you seen a doc? Sounds like you need some therapy. If you have tendinitis you really should stop all lifting, gripping, pushing or pulling. You need to let that nerve at the elbow rest. A splint may even help to keep the wrist in neutral and take the tension off the nerve to promote healing. Really, see a doc and get some PT or OT.     :I was diagnosied with Tendonitis today in my right arm. The doctor gave me a shot of cortisone and said it would help. I do alot of work at a dentist office. I am forever lifting and carrying and my arm is in movement all day. When I get home I am very sore and stiff. I was wondering if this pain will go away. My husband says it might be time to change jobs. I am not sure what to do. I am on pain pills at night and also on inflamitory pills too….. Can you help.. Thank youMargo
