thigh muscle dent

(3 discussions)

I have read alot of these postings about muscle dent in the thigh. I have had mine about 1 1/2 now. Just a few months ago, I started getting pain in both of them, and not only that, they would turn pink, and maybe grey. It hurts to walk, sit, get up, anything, and my doctor said it is normal, but I doubt it. I can’t find any info on this, and it is bothering me, I want to know what is going on. please!!

I have the same issue – a dent in my upper thigh, and now I think there’s one below it. I injured myself pretty badly about a year ago, couldn’t really walk for awhile. Since then I’ve had a great deal of pain when sitting on hard surfaces or even soft surfaces for a large amount of time. Something is binding in my leg when I sit and I keep having to straighten my leg in order to pop my knee. Anyway…yeah, I’d like info on this too.

I have the same dent about 4 in.above left knee. It just appeared about a month ago. I had been just beginning a new exercise program-treadmill & kickbocking classes- it’s frusterating b/c I had just gotten over another(different) injury. It seems to coincide w/my exercise program, haven’t exercised in 1 wk. but dent is still there. Am contacting PT soon if not resolved. Does anyone know what it it or how to make it go away-please let me know!
