Thumb

About a week ago I injured my thumb during a basketball game. I thought it was just a normal finger jam but the pain is still there. It is very sensitive when I try to write or just brush my hair. It was throbbing but has recently stopped. Any kind of action that requires my thumb to bend in towards my palm or out away from my palm is painful. There was a little swelling but it has gone down. Should I see a doctor or get x-rays.

I know what’s that’s like! Try the Swedo Strap Lock. Also, go to a good physical therapist and see if you can get orthotics that may help. Chances are that you have a high arch that is making you more prone to ankle injuries. I was in a similar situation and those two products improved everything!
