Tibia Injury

(3 discussions)

Two weeks ago, I accidentally dropped a box and the corner of it hit my right lower front leg.
I immediately got a bump and thought it would just be a bruise.
I put ice on it for a couple days then warm, moist heat.
The bump is still there.
If I am up on it for a few minutes, it stings and throbs.
I contacted my primary care physician after 9 days and he recommended an ultrasound which was negative for a blood clot.
He just said to continue with the warm moist heat. Now, a week later, it is no better… I still have the bump.
My PCP’s nurse will not give me an appointment, saying it is not urgent, and I cannot get one with an orthopedist for another week. Any suggestions?

I have a fracture tibia and fibula on the middle of my left leg and it happened 5 months ago,and the Doctor put a cast on my leg. I used to go to check up after six weeks and My last day to the doctor xrays shows that there is less than 50% of contact between the bones. Please I’m seeking for medical advice.
