tip of big toe

Hi,
I have a question for you today.
I can’t seem to figure out the ‘thickning’ at the tip of my big toe.
The same spot that a ballernia would on her tip toes (I don’t dance).
It is more annoying than pain, but I am consistently filing down the tip of my toe.
Any suggestions on what it is or how to get rid of it.
P.S. I do roll in with the same ankle.
Thank you for any advice or answers,Sincerely, Anna

It is possiblwe your toe is hitting the top of the shoe. If your shoe is too short or the toe curved upward and hits the top of the toe box, then a callus can result. You might consider seeing a podiatrist for further information.
