Tips for healthy feet?

I’m a 33 year old very active guy. Since I don’t own a car I get around on foot every day, and I’m wondering if there are basic guidelines for selecting shoes and replacing them. So far I’ve just tried to buy good quality shoes and to get them resoled when they seem worn. Thank you.

You are actually a rarity nowadays. Most folks think walking is something done only in emergencies. Each shoe will wear differently. As long as they fit and are not giving you any difficulty then resoling them may be fine. If the heels wear very fast, a tap on the edge may help. If the shoe seems to have worn out so much that your foot hangs off the edge, then it has lost it’s usefulness.
