To MYA PT

Greetings, I am looking for information on bracing for lateral tracking patella and chondromalacia.
I am a runner who suffers from patella problems that have not been cured through PT (I’ve spent months in PT but no longer have a script to continue).
I’ve had a couple of surgeries and am having trouble getting back to running. Anyway I can’t find any research or reviews on all the braces that seem to be out there. Bio Skin Q-brace, J-Lat and Palumbo to name a few. Do you know where I can go to find this information so I can choose wisely?

    Hi There,
    First of all, what type of exercises were you doing in PT? Did any of the involve pushing lateraly on the medial patella and tightening up your quads? I have some great exercise for building up the VMO that will improve patella tracking. As for a brace, I’ve never given anyone a brace, as we’ve had good results with exercise. But, I can look into it for you…send me an e-mail and we can communicate that way.
