toe numbness

for about three weeks now I have been having numbness in the toes on my left foot all the way up to about the ball of my foot. I went to the doctor and he said I have a pinched nerve. I feel that it might be moving up a little more and it is getting more and more tingly. I just want to know if anyone thinks it could be something other than a pinched nerve. Also I had it in the other foot months ago, however, it was not as bad or for as long.

A Morton’s neuroma can be aggravated by the shoes that one wears. If the inflammation calms down then the symptoms might subside. You might need to try injections in the area to see if that might help.
