toenails falling off

Awhile ago I injured both my big toenails and they are slowly falling off.
I am almost positive one is about ready to come off, what should I do? Will they grow back? always?

Clip or file off as much as you can periodically. There probably is not much in the way of infection after several weeks and the bed is dried out.

If the root of the nail is not damaged then the nail will grow back. Generally it take a year for the toenail to grow out fully. When it is damaged though it will grow faster.

both nails are still on, however I feel like a could just pull them off. Already I can kinda lift them up. What should I do? let them fall off? take them off? any special care to prevent infection?thanks

I am 12 years old and I have had no previous problems with my toenails but recently both of my big toenails fell off and a few days later another one came off. I think that I am going to lose them all, can you give me any advice on what to do and why this is happening. The toeanils underneath are growing and they may have forced the toenails off.

Recently I got a pedicure and the lady told me on both my big toes toward the inside the are seperating from the skin. If this persists I am assuming my toenails will fall off. I’ve tried to see if certain shoes hurt my feet or anything but nothing. I do work on my feet alot. Help I don’t want to lose my toenails. What can I do??
