broke 5th metarsal foot in short leg cast toes turn purple unless foot elevated then colour returns is this normal and is this what they call a jones fracture and how long till I can resume activities thanks
You might be describing supination which is the opposite of pronation. This certainly may lead to ankle instability. The other pain you describe in the ball of your foot may ne a Morton’s neuroma.Orthotics might help both your problems, but they need to be accurate and posted correctly.
