Top left foot pain
For the past couple of months I have been experiencing excrutiating pain in the top of my left foot. The pain never goes away just worsens from time to time. It recently began swelling a little, I made an appointment with my family doctor and he says that he thinks it is tendonitis. Would tendonitist last as long as it has?

I recommend you see a podiatrist- an soecialist in problems of the foot and ankle. It is impossible to tell you what is going on without an examination.
