Top of Foot hurts

I don’t recall doing anything, but I was playing volleyball when the pain started.
My foot hurts on the top of my foot if I press on it, but the pain comes through the arch/ball of my foot (underneath) when I walk.
It doesn’t hurt if I walk on the outside of my foot.
Any ideas?

  1. There are several possibilities, but without an examination, it is difficult to say. There might be a stress fracture, tendonitis, or even a nerve entrapment. You should see a podiatrist for an evaluation.
