My husband has pain in his right toe, foot and ankle without any redness or swelling. He says it is worse at night and experiences a burning sensation in his right toe and the bottom of his foot. He had an MRI (low back) that showed no significant herniation, just some degeneration and arthritis. He is thirty nine and says that the pain wakes him up at night. He took a Medrol dose pack last week that helped slightly, but the pain is back and the burning sensation, he says is the worst. He also feels numbness and tingling on the top of his foot. he did break his right ankle over ten years ago, but has never had anything like this.
