3 wks ago i tore my left bicep whilst tyre flipping,having had no treatment it seems to be getting better but there seems to be a little lump near the bottom of the bicep,could this be some muscle tissue or stil bruising.also i do some powerlifting as well and am wanting to start training again asap,is it safe after just 3 wks to start training or is the muscle stil too tender after such an injury,any help or advice much appreciated,brendan.

  1. Was it a complete tear? You should probably wait longer than 3 weeks before starting up any kind of power lifting. If it wasn’t a complete tear then it hasn’t completely healed and if you go out and jerk a bunch of weight you could tear it completely.
