Torn Meniscus
Several weeks ago I was playing basketball and injured my knee.
I went to a doctor friend of mine and asked him what the popping and grinding sensation in my knee was, and he told me it was a torn Meniscus.
What is a torn Meniscus, what kind of surgical procedures will be taken, and how long does the average rehab. time take.

well I have torn my lateral maniscus two times and my medial once, and depending on how severe the tear the doctors can shave the tear out, put absorbable screws in the maniscus to fix the tear. if the tear is really bad then they can just cut the torn part out. in terms of rehab, it takes a long time for the maniscus to heal so expect some over a long period of time
