torn rotator cuff

in january I fell off a snowboard and injured my shoulder. it’s the last day of march and it’s not any better! the doctor said I needed physical therapy but….isn’t there weight exercises I can do on my own?? help! I haven’t slept well since before the injury =(

    i am not sure if I have a torn rotator cuff. I fell and tried to reach my arm out and it was stuck on the bed as I went down. I have been in severe pain since I fell. the drs noticed in the x-ray that there was a separation at the top of the shoulder but it was not dislocated. they have not done a MRI and want me to go to physical therapy. I am in too much pain. what should I do. It has been two weeks of horrendous pain.
