Torn Roter Cup

I have done an MRI and it says that I have a Torn roter cup. Does that mean that I have to have surgery.
Is there something else I could do?

It's a rotator cuff, not cup. Does your doc think you need surgery? It just depends on the degree of the tear, your age and overall health. If it's not a very large tear some physical therapy and strengthening of the shoulder complex would be benifical.
