traveling pain

I twisted my left ankle twice last year while walking for exercise. Since the last twist, I quit exercising for various reasons. In the last 4 months I have gained 40 lbs. Within the last 4 weeks, I started with pain in my ankle as if I had twisted it again. Not long after the pain moved down to the joint near the pinky toe, then moved across all the joint of all toes and now encompasses the entire foot with either pain or stiffness. It is worse when I wake up in the morning it takes 30 to 40 minutes to get my body moving mostly my foot (my back gets really stiff too). I helped for a short while to wear a brace but now that no longer helps. If I sit for long periods at work it takes a long while to get moving and I have trouble walking due to pain. I am only 30 years old and I shouldn’t feel this way. I need to walk for exercise again to get all this weight off. help!

You could possibly have arthritis. I suggest you see an orthopedist or rheumatologist
