tremors
I am 65 years old and have a bad back. It dosen’t bother me a lot if I don’t lift much weight and exercise. I have had a small problem for years with musle tremors when I try to relax or fall asleep.
The last several months they have gotten worse. my sholder twiches, my legs jerk, and sometimes my whole chest jerks. I just wonder if being out of alignment could cause this?

Your problem looks to be systemic meaning its happening all over. I would suspect a metobolic issue (electrolytes), low calcium can lead to involuntary muscular contraction and even spasm (tetany). I would have your doctor run a metobolic panel and check calcium and other electrolyte levels. If that checks out fine, then its time to think about other causes such as Parkinson's disease and multiple sclerosis. Other causes include Wilson's disease, a hereditary disorder in which toxic levels of copper accumulate in the tissues; mercury poisoning; an over-active thyroid gland; and liver encephalopathy.
