Twisted pelvis

Im 15 years old and I have had a twisted pelvis for quite some time now. It doesn’t hurt but if I stand for too long it gets uncomfortable. My left leg is slightly more turned inwards than my right leg so it gives the ilussion of a tilted pelvis of about 2cm. I went to an Osteopath and he said it was tight pelvis muscles and that my left groin muscles were shorter than my right groin muscles. I’ve been figure skating for a long time and I fall alot on my pelvis. He gave me exercises and stretches to do and he said it will come right over time.My doctor thinks my one leg is growing faster than the other and because I haven’t had equall support on both legs my one leg has turned inwards. Which one do I believe. My question is will it be permanent and can it effect my growth? also should I get xrays?

Leanne, I don’t know if a “twisted” pelvis is the same as a “torqued” pelvis, but if it is similar, it can likely be relieved pretty quickly through chiropractic adjustment. My pelvis was greatly torqued from a bad fall down a hill and it took me two years too find someone to help me. So, even after walking around like that for so long, it only took one adjustment to make a huge difference and only a few more adjustments before it started to hold it’s position. I had to go in a couple of times a week at first, but now only go once a month and am getting ready to try for two months. I wish I’d gone to a Chiropractor sooner – but just didn’t know my options then.
