Typical MD. Help… go see a Doctor

Think I broke my little toe and was looking on the internet to figure out how to reduce the swelling and help myself deal with it, and what do I get from most MD’s sites… “you should get it X-rayed” Gee that helps allot, if I could afford to go to a MD to get it X-rayed why would I be looking on the internet? Besides the fact that I broke one of my other toes 7 or 8 years back, went to Emergency room… “Got that X-ray”… just so they could tell me there was nothing they could do for a broken toe… thank you very much… that will be, $310. for the same info I could of gotten without a X-Ray!

Normally I would say when you get something for nothing, it’s worth nothing. However, you certainly have a valid point. I respectfully disagree with the part about “there is nothing that can be done for a broken toe.” As any podiatrist will tell you there are many things, such as splinting, cast brace, surgical shoes etc.Go see a podiatrist a D.P.M. and hopefully you will be treated correctly.
