Unknown Foot/Ankle Pain
I have had foot and ankle pain for the past 4 months. I was told it was a slight sprain and it should heal fast. It didn’t get better so I went back in and they said it was Tendonitus.
It still didn’t get better so I went back to the hospital and I was given crutches 3 weeks ago and it still is not better. Also when I walk on it there is a reoccuring popping sound. Could you possibly tell me what this is

Without examining your foot I can not answer specifically. Snapping or popping sounds come from either gas bubbles that form in the joint fluds that pop when the joint is squeezed or a tendon snapping as it moves. The fact that you are still hurting suggests something is not healing correctly. I recommend you see a podiatrist or orthopedist and get (hopefully) a MRI to see what might be going on.
