Warm Feeling In Ankle
(2 discussions)
I keep getting this feeling in my ankle – it feels almost like somebody is putting warm water on the inner side, near the protruding ankle bone.
It only lasts a few seconds, and then goes away.
Sometimes I get this feeling very infrequently, but for the past few days, it has been happening maybe 50x per day.
It happens when sitting, walking, bike riding, relaxing with no discernable pattern.
It just feels very warm for a few moments, and then goes away.
It doesn’t hurt – it’s actually pleasant.
No weakness or swelling or anything.
I don’t think it’s actually warm to touch.
I’m not taking any medication except a prescription vitamin D supplement.
Any idea what it might be?

This might be a nerve problem or one of the other structures in the tarsal canal pressing on the posterior tibial nerve.Have this evaluated by a podiatrist or neurologist

I have been having the exact same issue. Just curious if you were evaluated and what you found out.
