warm wet sensation in my left foot

I have been recently feeling a warm, wet sensation in my left foot.
There is not any pain associated with it, and it happens while either standing or sitting.
I haven’t noticed a pattern. The only variables different at this time are I recently had a UTI and was put on Cipro, and I began running about 25 miles per week.

I get this too – – it comes and goes. It’s exactly like you describe. Like you say, it’s not painful and it hasn’t gotten worse over about 10 years now. Sometimes it stops for months at a time, and sometimes it occurs 25x per day. Somebody once suggested Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome, but I don’t know and didn’t really have it checked out. Good luck finding an answer. Post back if you find anything interesting …(Tangentially “began running about 25 miles per week” implies that you’re starting from a very low amount of base miles … that’s pretty much recipe for injury. You should increase your weekly mileage no more than 10% per week … and usually less. I’m a runner too.)
