wart

When I became pregnant 3 years ago I developed a wart on the bottom of my foot. After the birth I went to have it removed. When the dr. examined it he told me the wart was no longer there. However a thick layer of skin remained in that area. Soon after he cut away this skin it grew back again in the same spot. I again had it looked at this year by my regular dr. He burned the skin away to get down deeper. A hard lump came back again. Why does this keep happening? Can this problem ever be corrected so that I don’t have a hard lump there?

Honestly, warts are predictably unpredictable. The Human Papilloma Virus is very resistant to our immune system. Since many treatment options are available, one should assume no one is successful all of the time. I know of warts that come and go. They are frustrating.
