Diagnosed near my right ankle not leaning on bones or joints. I have no pain, walk two miles a day but it is suggested I have it removed.. I rather wait until I have discomfort. I am 76 in good health and would rather wait until it is uncomfortable or grows. what are the risks of putting off the surgery. Thank you.

Is painful only when pressed.Please tell me whether this is likely to develop into a cancer and whether I should seek further medical advice.
