Hi. I’m 12 and was also diagnosed with osgood sclatters disease 2 1/2 years back. From what I know is that it is some kind of form of tendonitis. But, what do I know I have so many other things wrong with my knee too. It is often know to be in both knees luckily I don’t have itboth knees and of course you don’t always have it in both knees. Has your doctor told you to ice your knee 3 times a day and 20 min. ea./time. If you can take ibuprofen or advil. You also need to try strength training. I’m in soccer too so it really feels bad. Thats all I know. G2G, ~*~KATIE~*~

: GinaMy daughter has been diagnosed with Osgood Schlatter diease and also Bilateral patellofemoral syndrome and now we think she has a little scoliosis. I am not sure if the scoliosis has anything to do with this dieases she has in her knees.. She has done the ice, rest, and the excercises but, she still has pain and her knee goes out on her some.. She has learned to live with the pain.If you have anything to add please let me know.
