Ball squeezes do not exercise the wrist flexors, they exercise the finger flexors. Ball throwing has many components of movement…pecs, shoulder internal rotation, elbow extension and wrist flexion. If you want exercises that isolate wrist flexion, throwing is really not the best exercise for that. If you want proof to support that hook up an EMG to your wrist flexor musculature and do each exercise and watch the activity in those muscles with each of the exercises. Good Luck,M. Scott PT
