accessory navicular

I have an accessory navicular on my right foot that was discovered about 5 years ago when I had foot pain and couldn’t wear shoes that I had been wearing.
It settled down, and it doesn’t bother me as long as I wear shoes that I have found to fit.
Now I haven’t been able to find another pair that will fit and not cause pain.
Is there any option other than surgery?
Thanks!

Depending on the patient, orthotics can be useful for this problem.
