Achillies Tendon rupture

I have a bone spur behind my achillies, to remove it they have to cut the achillies, remove the spur and reattach the achillies, any info on this would be greatly apprecited.

I ruptured my tendon last weekend. THe local hostital have me in plaster and say it will be on for the next 8 weeks. I would appreciate your advice on what I can do to ease my recovery and any other help you can give would be appreciatedthank you Chris

dear sir or madam, I have a hard boney lump on the back of my heel. It is very painful and I cannot bear to wear a closed in shoe for very long.also weight bearing when I get up in the morning. regards c higgins
