ACL Deficient Knee

Hi I fell and twisted my knee back in January this year, was told I had torn the cartilage in my right knee and had the op in june to repair it. Whilst having this done they found I had also ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament and am now on the list for a reconstruction
has anyone out there had this done??
